Lane Elliott - CEO, President
Lane Elliott, the founder and CEO of WeTubeU brings over 34 years of business and sales experience with her. A quarter century of that experience was manufacturing, marketing, merchandising and distributing apparel and related apparel merchandise. Lane has produced over 600 million dollars in sales to client and retailers.
As sole proprietor of a private label manufacturing service, Executive Vice President of a mens sportswear manufacturer and importer, owner of a marketing and merchandising consulting company, general partner of a small leather goods manufacturer; her hands-on management style energized others with positive and very profitable results.
In-depth knowledge of design, strategic planning, merchandising, marketing, production, purchasing, computer-assisted-design (CAD) and sales management have supported these businesses to succeed. Additional strengths include implementing, planning and marketing new business concepts and merchandising to the consumer and their needs.
Sales ability, creativity, truly caring for the needs of clients; coupled with tested and proficient business skills, as well as optimism and perseverance support her appetite for success.
Lane came up with the concept for WeTubeU out of necessity. She wanted to incorporate a video into her real estate business website. Attempts to do it herself with a webcam provided amateur quality results. She wanted video content that looked professional and could help to promote her business in new and creative ways. Lane decided to speak to local production companies to help her create a professionally produced video. That is when she discovered the high cost that these companies were charging. She realized that the small business owner needed the same access to new media and marketing, but at an affordable rate.
That was the spark that convinced her to launch WeTubeU. She worked hard to develop a formula that could deliver great quality videos that every small business, service provider or entrepreneur could afford.
From this idea, Lane proceeded, using her networking skills and proven ability to energize others. She assembled the core team, organized the production, sales, marketing, distribution and operational structure to ensure a branded sales tool that every type and level of business must have and will purchase.
Lane is originally from Los Angeles, lived 21 years in New York and now resides in San Diego with her daughter Samantha and Cami the family dog.
